CEO Magazine has been a prominent voice in business education rankings since its inception in 2008, launching its annual Global MBA Rankings in 2012. The publication has seen significant growth in its ranking scope, with this year's edition featuring 153 schools across 24 countries and encompassing 309 different programs. These programs include online MBAs, Executive MBAs, and full-time and part-time MBA offerings, marking a 10 per cent increase in participation from previous years.
The fact-based ranking methodology is designed to provide potential students with a comprehensive performance benchmark. The ranking system for full-time and part-time MBA programs employs a sophisticated weighting approach that carefully evaluates multiple dimensions of educational quality.
The assessment prioritises academic excellence by emphasising factors such as faculty quality, international diversity, class size, and institutional accreditation. Additional elements in the evaluation include the faculty-to-student ratio, program pricing, international exposure, students' work experience, professional development opportunities, gender representation, and program delivery methods. The multifaceted approach provides prospective students with a holistic assessment of each educational program's strengths and potential.
Director of MBA and Executive Education Portfolio, Dr Pauline Parker, said the prestigious accolade, alongside existing AMBA and AACSB accreditations placed the institution among the top business schools globally. “The ranking underscores our dedication to providing a vocationally rich, employer-engaged, and research-informed MBA experience that empowers graduates to achieve their personal and professional ambitions in today's dynamic global business environment,” she said.
