Spin-out Review – Statement of Adoption
ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ welcomes the Report from the  (‘Spin-out review') and has adopted its  which have now been incorporated into our and  Exploitation of Inventions and Patents Policy.
In particular, ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ welcomes the opportunity to use the impetus provided by the Spin-Out review to:
- Continue to develop and update our spin-out policy and commercialisation processes so that they align with the best practice guidelines presented in the Review and those in the University Spin-out Investment Terms (USIT) Guide.
- Promote our spin-out policy and commercialisation processes to our researchers as an opportunity to bring their research into application and impact where suitable.
- Ensure spin-outs are always considered as a route for University IP exploitation.
- Develop equity sharing policy appropriate for each specific new venture.
